The Windmill Movie
Last night, I caught a screening of Alexander Olch’s film, The Windmill Movie at Film Forum. The film is a portrait of the late Richard P. Rogers, a documentary and experimental filmmaker and professor at Harvard (where he met Olch). The film uses footage taken by Rogers himself, cutting into the past and present and pieced into a beautiful and touching narrative. If you don’t get a chance to check it out at Film Forum, it’ll be presented on HBO later this year.
