Earlier this year I went to the Save Fashion event presented by Refinery29.com at the pop-up store location and made out like a bandit. Starting Friday through November 22nd, Save Fashion will have great designer fashions at sample prices we all love. Go to Inven.tory located at 237 Lafayette Street between Prince and Spring Street.
For info on past designers, click here.
See you there!

I was frantically trying to find the xx’s rework of You’ve Got the Love by Florence and the Machine while at work the other day and somehow got a trojan on my work computer instead…oops…damn pcs.
Anyways I’m happy to say that you can listen and/or download it safely at gorillavsbear.net.
It’s super addictive, not the mention this video is hot. The xx seems to be all the rage these days and I wish I could give you a detailed account of their live performance. I recently saw them perform at Tribeca Grand during CMJ, but the crowd was louder than the band unfortunately. Nonetheless, I’m still enjoying their music at the moment.

A Kolache ( KUH•LA•CHEE ) is a light, flavorful fresh-baked dough filled with different ingredients. Some are savory, some are sweet, but all of them are delicious and quick and easy to eat on the run. It’s the fast food for foodies, and it has finally arrived in New York City. This pasy year, I had a chance to check out El Perro Del Mar at the Bowery Ballroom with my bestie, Emmy. Her latest mini-album, Love is Not Pop came out in April, but I just recently re-introduced myself to the album’s first single, “Change of Heart” and well it just really speaks to me right now. Sarah Assbring brings seduction and bittersweet sentiments that will leave this song haunting you.
Listen to the track via Fluxblog.org.
